The guide element (1) consists of base part (2), guide channel and guide insert (3) which defines the width of the guide channel and is inserted into the base part in different turn-locking positions. The base part consists of a locking plate (4) and two limbs (6) surrounding a channel, and the guide insert of a base plate and two limbs (7) surrounding the guide channel. The base plate of the guide insert grips the circular receiving hole of the locking plate. It is situated on the locking plate and is seamlessly turnable and arrestable against it.
