The assembly tool (1) has a profile (2) which helps in attachment of oblong objects to mounting plate. It encloses an expansion body (6) and an abutment nose (9) and a lever (8) are arranged on the expansion body. Both the assembly tool and expansion body are made up of metal and the expansion body has a round cross-section.
