Production of a measuring shoe comprises fixing a mounting element (20) on the base of a strip (10), fixing a sole (30) on the base of the mounting element and lasting a shoe body (40) onto the sole. The base and side surfaces of a foot bed are molded from the mounting element. The surface of the foot bed processes the orthopedic requirements of the shoe support. An independent claim is also included for a kit for carrying out the above process. Preferred Features: The mounting element is made from cork or thermoplastic material. The foot bed has hard and soft layers.
