The tank has a wall (5) connected to a cover plate (7) in a force-fit and positive-fit manner. The wall is sealed in the molten concrete of the cover plate. A tie bar and a carriage tie bar (14) are arranged at a spigot end and are sealed in the cover plate. Concrete reinforcements are arranged at the spigot end and are sealed in the cover plate. The wall and the cover plate are connected to the tie bar and the carriage tie bar. An independent claim is also included for a method for manufacturing a concrete tank.
