The method involves the production of a blank by thixo forging. The blank is warmed up to a set temperature, with the material of the blank in the thixotropen condition transformed by a swage. The blank (1') is cooled after heating up (A) to a purposeful shape. The blank is cooled down aided by a liquid medium, and an inert gas.
