The present invention relates to a novel process for the floating of reduction-susceptible glasses, in particular, phosphorus-containing glasses, with float media, which as an essential component contain bismuth and / or lead. Due to this fact, there has been no administration of the float process for such glasses. Rather, it has been produced from these rolled glass and the required surface quality by means of expensive and costly grinding and polishing.
