The device has an oil duct (13) connected with an oil sump (12). The oil duct conducts the splash oil, which emerges through a sprocket contact of an output gear (4) to bearing points (9, 11) of a bearing (8). The oil sump is arranged lower than the bearing to be lubricated, during a vehicle operation. The bearing is implemented in a tandem arrangement. The bearing is provided in a portal cover and a housing.
