The valve has an actuator area (3) formed in a valve body (2), and electrically insulated fluid e.g. oil, permanently filled in the area. A piezoelectric actuator is arranged in the area. A valve tappet (23) is connected between the actuator and a valve unit to control a connection between high and lower pressure sides. A flexible sealing unit (27) is sealably connected between the tappet and the body to separate the fluid and fuel.
