The wall light consists of a roller blind (20) that sits, spaced, on the upper part of the light source (12). An electricity source (14) may be arranged perpendicularly beneath the light source and have a fixture for the exposed end of the roller blind. The electricity source may be clamped via a surrounding pipe (16) that may have a roller blind holder (18) sitting at right angles to it and which holds the roller blind securely in place under tension. The wall-facing side of the roller blind may have a coloured runner with a white zone on the lower end of the roller blind. A slitted roller drum (18) may be fixed to the wall and in which the electricity source may be clamped on and can also be adjusted in length.
