In heat-process to disinfect water used for showers and drinking purposes in a multi-storey building, water is heated in a tank having a an electrical heating element, a fill/drain valve (7), a mixer valve (5) with regulating valve and a back-flow prevention valve (8) to a temperature above 70[deg]C. a measured quantity of hot water is then flushed through the system including the scale removal station.
