The clamp has metal brackets which are formed in the profile gasket for embedding and each bracket with two shanks (2,3) is enclosed with U-shaped plastic part (1) which is enclosed by the profile gasket. It serves as intermediate location between metal bracket and edge strip. The distance of the shank of metal bracket is so selected that the strongest side strip can be enclosed with plastic part with narrowest permissible wall thickness.
