Fuel injection valve (100) has two slot shaped annular-gap segments (24) provided on a spray element (23). Fuel lamellae (26a,26b,26c) are sprayable with different spraying directions, angles and thicknesses by the annular-gap segments. The fuel injection valve also has a valve longitudinal axis (2), valve seat body (16) with a fixed valve seat (29) which downstreams the spray element. An independent claim is also included for the application of the fuel injection valve.
