The solid materials are fed on the entry side of the rotary drum (1) via a hopper (2) and centrally through an opening (3) in the vestibule (4). In the walls of the drum is an inlet channel through which the materials flow. The inner side wall has an opening (8) whilst a launch chamber (9) is located in the drum chamber and which is covered off by the drum chamber flap (10). On the periphery of the drum, there may be numerous systems to record the amount of material that has been collected.
