The device has a piston cylinder component connected with the thread guide (1). The thread guide is held on a carriage (5), which is movably guided in the guide housing (2). The carriage is connected firmly with an end of the piston rod. The piston rod is connected with the opposite end with in the cylinder (3) led piston. The cylinder and the guide housing are firmly connected with each other. The guide housing has to one side a retaining mechanism (8) for a detachable attachment on the mechanical component.
