The method involves having a first reference work part and a signal process (c1) measured over time. The difference (x) between a local maximum value (Pmax2) of a signal process within a numerical control set of a NC program and an absolute maximum value (Pmax1) of the entire signal process for the work part is determined. A correction value for the feed control of the numerical control set of the NC-program is determined and maintained into the numerical control set of the NC-program.
