The attachment has a backrest (3), which is mountable and removable for a single bench or for a smaller bench group. The backrest is turned down in a direction of a seating surface of a bench (4) in a rotatably moving manner. An automation fixation of the backrest is effected with opening of the backrest at the bench. The backrest is designed in a multi-part manner and rigidly connected with a seat support (2).
