The device for the increase in deceleration of a motor vehicle during full braking applications in hazardous situations, whereby the device increases the pressure force of the front wheels on the ground by the ejection of combustion gases produced by pyrotechnic charges through the outlet openings of jet pipes located in the front axle region of the motor vehicle. The jet pipes and outlet openings are vertically disposed so that the combustion gases are delivered vertically upwards. The pyrotechnic charges may be solid propellants which are exchangeable.
