The valve has a valve body (3) that is arranged in a recess of a valve housing (1), and comprising a closing body that rests against a seat area in a closing position of the valve. A control space is formed by a free volume between the housing and the valve body, and extending in an opening direction of the valve body. An absorber (11) is designed and arranged in such a manner that it absorbs axial oscillations of the valve body. An independent claim is also included for an injection valve comprising a control valve.
