The stroke gear drive has an top dead center (OT) which is defined by an angle between the piston rod (3) and the lever (4) which lies in the range of around 30[deg]. The bottom dead center (UT) is defined by the angle between the piston rod and lever lying in the range of around 150[deg]. The kinematics chain formed by the transmission elements form two congruent triangles (a,b,c,d). An independent claim is also included for the rotary piston unit.
