The driving axle has differential gear (24) which is formed as self-locking differential gear and the brake mechanism (29) has direct effect on the differential gear housing (18) whereby brake mechanism is formed as multiple disk brake. The brake mechanism has a brake lever (33) with a spherical cap shaped contact surface (34) for generation of equal contact pressure. An independent claim is also included for an industrial truck.
