The attachment for a control unit is provided on a hub axle (3) of a multi-way hub. The control unit (1) has a housing (6) with an opening for the hub axle. The attachment of the control unit on the hub axle has a positioning holding device which becomes a retaining element against the hub axle. The holding device is formed by the retaining element and a recess at the free end of the hub axle. The retaining element is linked at the housing and intervenes toward the hub axle in the recess and or retaining groove (4) being pushed away.
