The unit has a continuous motor shaft (2), which is supported at the shaft end in a cup-shaped crankcase. A tappet (9) for the drive is enclosed by shaft end, which is supported in the retainer body (1). A base (3), as brush retaining plate, is provided to seal the crankcase and has a shaft passage which permits the test purpose to the motor shaft support.
