The method involves separating a partial pull-off (3) of an insulation (4) of a conductor form an insulation (6) remaining on the conductor. An insulating tube (9) is put over in specified position in such a manner that a circulating slot and an area of the insulation (6) are simultaneously encased. The insulation is encased by the tube, so that the pull-off (3) and the area (8) stand under effect of fixing forces exercised by the tube.
