The projector includes film projectors emitting lights of different polarizations. Lenses (11) are provided for common display of lamellar section of both semi images on the projection surface. The lenses include a deflecting device (8) which is rotatable or pivotable synchronously with a horizontal frequency in order to over coat the projection surface with the lamellar sections. Independent claims are also included for the following: (A) a method for projecting stereo images containing two semi images on a projection surface arranged in predetermined distance (B) a projection system with a stereo projector.
