The proposed arrangement comprises a sewage treatment plant and a biogas plant (20). The treatment plant has a digester (11) for sewage sludge resulting from anaerobic stabilization. The biogas plant (20) has a fermenter (21) for the production of biogas from renewable raw materials, as well as a heat engine (23) and a generator (24) for generating electricity from the generated biogas. The heat generated during the heat-power process in the heat engine (23) is fed to the digester (11) via a heat pipe (13) to support the anaerobic stabilization.
