The process is for the integrated dosing and mixing-through of small amounts of fluids, whereby a dosing reservoir (3) is filled completely with a first fluid and by a connecting structure (11) connected to a reaction reservoir (1) in such a way that the surface tension of the first fluid prevents entry into the reaction reservoir. The reaction reservoir is filled completely with a second fluid so that it communicates with the first fluid at the connecting structure. A flow pattern is created in the fluid at least in or on the reaction reservoir and leads to the mixing-through of the fluids. Independent claims are included for the following: (A) a device for the integrated dosing and mixing-through of small amounts of fluids; (B) an apparatus for the carrying out of the above process; and (C) a use for the above process, device and apparatus for the dosing and mixing-through of biological fluids.
