The method is for the manufacture of a joint component (1) for especially a cardan joint or spider whereby each joint component connected to a spider has two fork arms and a bridge connecting them. At least one joint component has an attachment blank or fastening flange (15) which is fitted into the fork bridge and turned by an angle in relation to the pivot axis according to the respective assembly requirements and/or installation situations. The fastening flange is connected to the bridge with positive locking. An independent claim is included for a joint component with an attachment blank or fastening flange with a profiled connecting section (17) engaging in a profiled hole (11) in the fork bridge.
