The conveyor has a guide roller (6) with an axis (22), which is relocatable for adjusting clamping of conveying material in a direction of longitudinal axis of a support rail (3) over a thread adjustable drive. The drive is designed with a thread rod (19) that acting as a pull rod. A longitudinal axis of the rod lies parallel to conveying direction of conveyor tracks (2a, 2b) and within a center plane of the guide roller.
