The device has snap or locking hooks (1) that are material coherently connected with a supporting unit of a sensor or a actuator. A locking lever is arranged in an area of the snap or locking hooks and engaged in a retainer or a support (2). A bevel produces an elastic force component in an axial direction on the sensor or the actuator due to a radial elastic deformation of the snap or locking hooks. Independent claims are also included for the following: (A) an automatic controller housing with a mounting device (B) an application of an automatic controller housing in an electronic brake system in a motor vehicle.
