Decor paper printing and painting system has printing stations (4) including a gravure unit with printing and impression rollers. A painting plant with paint applicator roller and a scraper for applying watery reaction paint onto printing surface of the paper web. A vertical drier pre-desiccates the paper web, and a horizontal drier (9) includes drying chambers on a curved path above the stations, for physical drying of the paint applied on the paper web.
