The unit has a shell body (2) with a hollow space and a core body (1), of which one enables heat transfer between a process medium (8) and heat sinks in thermal contact with the unit. The core body tapers along an axial direction as the hollow space, so that a temperature space (3) arises between shell surfaces of the core body and inner surfaces of the shell body, where circumference of the temperature space is upto 100 micrometers. Independent claims are also included for the following: (A) a continuously flowing analytic reaction controlling or processing systems e.g. microreaction systems or modular microreactor systems, for fluid media and comprising a heat transfer unit (B) an application of a heat transfer unit.
