The device has a housing with a plate (1), spring holders (2) and pump cylinders (8), which lie against each other on an interface (7), and a pump cavity and a fuel channel to guide a fuel with high pressure. A sealing arrangement has O-rings (5, 6) to effect a sealing of the interface in a radial direction at the cavity or channel. The interface has a metallic sealing surface with ring grooves (3, 4) to accommodate the O-rings.
