A drive unit comprises an electric motor and an angle sensor, each comprising a rotor, with the sensor being form- and force-fitted (8,11) to the motor rotor (3). Preferably the form-fitting connection is axial in the region of the force-fitting connection. An independent claim is also included for monitoring processes for the above that use a model value for the moment and give a warning if this is exceeded.
