Displaying respiration patterns in magnetic resonance image, by extracting Fourier spectrum associated with lung parenchyma and displaying information contained

The method involves recording a time sequence of magnetic resonance images of the lung and computing the variation of the signal with time in the images. A Fourier transform of the variation of the signal with time is formed and the Fourier spectrum associated with the lung parenchyma is extracted. Information contained in the Fourier spectrum is displayed in the magnetic resonance image.
