The process involves utilizing two identical measuring vessels with similar measuring liquid and with two uniform measuring samples. One of the samples is illuminated and other is shaded with a photocatalytic active coated surface. The transmission of liquids is measured, where different process of transmission is evaluated as photocatalytic effect. A photonic efficiency is calculated from transmission changes of the two liquids. An independent claim is also included for a device for measuring a photocatalytic activity using transmission measurement at coloring material solution.
