Bus system (1) has a plurality of electronic stations (2,3,4,5,6), which are connected by a bus line (7) so that by this bus line messages (10) can be exchanged. Functional means (8) are provided, with which sensor data can be entered and actuators (15) can be controlled. Each functional means can be displaced into several functional states.
