The thresher has threshing cylinders (9, 20), in which threshing sticks (23, 30) are placed on a surface of a cylinder shell (25). The sticks form the surface of the cylinder shell partially. Several energy absorbing units (24, 31) are placed in the space between the sticks, and are adjacent to one another along the direction of the periphery of the cylinders. The absorbing units stretch themselves along the axis of the cylinders.
