Monitoring the growth of environmental bacteria on the surfaces of evaporators in vehicle air conditioning systems comprising immersing a sample of the surface in a nutrient solution inoculated with at least one gram-positive bacterium, at least one gram-negative bacterium and at least one yeast and counting the growth of the microorganisms on it, is new. An independent claim is included for an application of determination of growing up of environmental germs.
