Use of hydrophobin for hard surface soil-repellent treatment. Independent claims are included for: (1) a method for hard surface soil-repellent treatment comprising contacting the surface with a composition the hydrophobin and the solvent; (2) cleaning agents for hard surfaces comprising at least one hydrophobin, at least one detergent and a solvent; and (3) a hard surface comprising soil-repellent coating, where the coating contains hydrophobin.
