A connector (10) for entry of one actuating cable (12) forms a longitudinally extending slot bordered by a pair of side legs, and an annular recess (14) positively connected with the flanged extension around a guide sleeve (20). The other actuating cable (18) is entered into the guide sleeve. The cables converge together at the juncture of the connector and sleeve.
