Bioabsorbable and mineralized material (I), for filling of bone defects, comprises a collagen matrix from aggregated collagen chains, where only the surface of the aggregated collagen chain is mineralized. Independent claims are also included for: (1) a molded article, for the filling of bone defects, comprising (I); and (2) a method for preparing the molded article, for the filling of bone defects with liquid medium (preferably (I)), comprising depositing a mineral substance, preferably from its dissolved ionogenic components, on a collagen matrix, precipitating the mineralized collagen matrix, separating the mineralized collagen matrix, transferring the mineralized collagen matrix into a suspension, transferring the suspension into a predefined form, freeze-drying the suspension in the predefined form. ACTIVITY : Osteopathic. MECHANISM OF ACTION : None given.
