Aqueous disinfectant, useful for cleaning and disinfecting hard surfaces, comprises combination of benzalkonium chloride, phenoxyethanol and aminotrimethylenephosphonic acid

Aqueous disinfectant comprises a combination of benzalkonium chloride, phenoxyethanol and aminotrimethylenephosphonic acid. An independent claim is included for a method for cleaning and/or disinfecting hard surfaces comprising (I). ACTIVITY : Antibacterial. The antibacterial effect of (I) was tested in Pseudomonas aeruginosa using biological assays. The results showed that (I) significantly reduced the number of bacteria. MECHANISM OF ACTION : None given.
