Most of the length of the blade (10) has an impervious surface. The surface of the blade tip (12) is made of woven or foam material which is permeable to air and water. Water condensing inside the hollow blade is flung to the tip and drains out through the porous material. The whole tip may be covered with porous material or just the leading edge or trailing edge.
