Safety element for gun especially handgun has a slider fitted to the trigger guard and blocking the trigger action in one setting

A simple safety element, especially for a handgun, prevents accidental discharge of the weapon, e.g. when dropped. A slider (130) is fitted to the bottom section of the trigger guard (120) and slides between a forward release setting and a rearward blocking position. The slider is fitted to a straight section of the trigger guard and can be secured in either position by ratchet grips. The slider can be fitted to new and existing weapons.
