The system has a generator (ISG), batteries (Bat1, Bat2) and supply lines (VL1, VL2), to which electrical loads (V12, V24) are connected. The supply lines are arranged in crossover-free manner and the potential gradient is applied between terminals of the generator at the supply lines. The mass potential is symmetric and voltage-centric to the voltage of the terminals. The lines form an H-shaped arrangement with a bridge circuit (BB).
