The method involves laying a shielding (6) in circumferential direction in an internal framework (2) of a prestressed concrete pipe (1) and/or hanging the shielding in an external framework (3) of the pipe. The framework (2) and/or framework (3) is hydraulically, mechanically or pneumatically expanded and/or shortened in a radial direction to prestress the shielding. A space between the frameworks is concreted. Independent claims are also included for the following: (A) a prestressed concrete pipe, in whose wall a prestressed armor is encased in concrete (B) a framework for manufacturing a prestressed concrete pipe.
