A cooling device for radiation sources during production of printing form comprises a cooling body (14) formed of a thermally conductive material having a thermal expansion coefficient adapted to the semiconductor substrate, and having at least one duct (15) for circulating a cooling fluid, and the cooling body being secured to the lower side of heat conducting plate (12). A cooling device for radiation sources during production of printing form, comprises: (a) an electrically insulating, heat conducting plate having an upper side and a lower side; (b) a metallic layer for conducting an operative current and heat, and applied to the upper side of the heat conducting plate; (c) a semiconductor substrate (4) forming the radiation sources (laser diodes) and secured onto the metallic layer; and (d) a cooling body formed of a thermally conductive material having a thermal expansion coefficient adapted to the semiconductor substrate, and having at least one duct for circulating a cooling fluid, and the cooling body being secured to the lower side of the heat conducting plate.
