A method and system for providing maintenance information of a medical device to the mobile device of a service technician is provided. In one embodiment, a job for a service technician to perform maintenance on a medical device is generated and the corresponding maintenance log is automatically selected based on data from the job. The job and maintenance log are then sent to the service engineer's wireless communication device.
