The device (7) for the absorbing and storing of solar energy, with a construction with PCM material for fastening to a roof (2) or to a facade, has the PCM material in the form of a low melting point PCM, and a heat pump (17) is connected to a pipe (12) located on one side of a panel-form element of PCM material to form a heating/cooling system. Independent claims are included for the following: (1) a building construction (1), a facade, and/or a roof upon which is installed the device for the absorbing and storing of solar energy; and (2) a method for the heating of building construction which is equipped with a device for the absorbing and storing of solar energy.
