The four-line sport kite has a sail braced by several rods. On the upper and lower edge of the sail (1) there is a respective rod as a leading edge, the center section of which corresponds to about one third of the length of the rods, and each connected to the sail by a guide pocket (17), whereby the rods are convex in relation to one another. The left hand and right hand ends of the rods are interconnected by rods forming lateral edges, whereby these rods are connected via a guide pocket (16) to the sail and via a connector to the leading edges.
